Mirror Inc. is an alcohol and drug treatment and prevention and correctional services provider. We offer residential and outpatient services on a statewide basis. Mirror is a private, not-for-profit agency serving the indigent population of Kansas and the inmate population in Kansas and Colorado. Mirror holds contracts with the State of Kansas, Social and Rehabilitation Services, Division of Health Care Policy, Mental Health, Addiction and Prevention Services, the Kansas Department of Corrections, the Kansas Sentencing Commission, the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, Federal Probation and Pre-trial Services Office. Present position is for a TC Coordinator located at the Mirror Therapeutic Community (TC) treatment program based at the Osawatomie Correctional Facility, State Hospital Grounds, Carmichal Building, Osawatomie, KS 66064. The successful applicant will be working with addicted male offenders in a corrections setting. Duties of this position may be quite varied and include curricula development and implementation, clinical supervision, administrative tasks, in-service trainings and assessment of counseling staff. Will also provide coverage for counseling staff during staff coverage shortages or when clinical staff are in trainings. For this position Mirror is seeking a human services or corrections professional with some solid management or clinical supervision and counseling experience working with the offender population. BA required. AAPS certification or two years experience delivering cognitive change programming to the offender population required. Some management or clinical supervision experience preferred. Hours would typically be Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 but will need to be flexible in order to provide coverage or clinical observation during early evening hours. Staff are on-site from 8:30 to 6:00 Monday through Friday and from 10:00 to 6:00 on Saturdays. Will likely cover one Saturday every 5th week. The duties of the present TC Coordinator position include but are not limited to the following: curricula development and implementation, clinical supervision, various administrative tasks, in-service trainings and assessment of counseling staff, monitoring of inmate movement/behavior within the institution and some limited fill-in duties related to coverage of the clinical staff such as psychoeducational presentations, group facilitation activities, individual counseling, group counseling and case management activities.

Extended sick leave is paid at 100% of salary and is earned at 5 days for each year of employment. Extended sick leave may be accrued up to 45 days.
