Mirror Inc. is an alcohol and drug treatment and prevention and correctional services provider. We offer residential and outpatient services on a statewide basis. Mirror is a private, not-for-profit agency serving the indigent population of Kansas and the inmate population in Kansas and Colorado. Mirror holds contracts with the State of Kansas, Social and Rehabilitation Services, Division of Health Care Policy, Mental Health, Addiction and Prevention Services, the Kansas Department of Corrections, the Kansas Sentencing Commission, the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, Federal Probation and Pre-trial Services Office. Present position is located at our Newton and Wichita residential re-entry units. Successful applicant will typically work 3 days a week at the Newton unit (1309 North Duncan, Newton, KS 67114) and 2 days a week at the Wichita unit (236 South Pattie Street, Wichita, KS 67211). The successful applicant will be working with federal offenders in a residential re-entry setting. For this position Mirror is seeking a human services or corrections professional with solid experience working with the offender population. Applicant should be able to assist offenders to meet their re-entry goals by helping them to access any necessary community based services and by monitoring behavior through accountability checks, etc... BA required. Some evening hours (Noon to 9:00pm) may be required once or twice a week. Must be able to pass background check & meet agency’s drug-free policy. Attractive salary & benefits. The duties of the present Residential Re-Entry Case Manager position include but are not limited to the following: referral services, educational presentations, maintenance of offender accountability standards, supervision of offenders, individual case management planning, individual and group counseling, re-entry planning and various other case management related activities and the typical paperwork demands associated with similar positions.

Benefits explanation:

On the first of the month following 90 days of employment all full-time employees at Mirror receive 100% paid life insurance commensurate to annual salary and 85% paid health insurance that includes major medical, prescription drug and dental rider coverage through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Paid long-term disability plan after one year of service. Agency funded retirement plan. Paid time off is accrued at 28, 33, 38 and 43 days annually based on years of service. Extended sick leave is paid at 100% of salary and is earned at 5 days for each year of employment. Extended sick leave may be accrued up to 45 days. Tax-deferred annuity and cafeteria plans are also available. Some paid time off for continued education credits.
