The residential intensive outpatient program provides 24-hour, residential living of a supportive nature for recovering alcoholics and/or drug dependent persons. Often these are clients who have completed more intense levels of care, but either do not have a safe environment to return to or need a bit more involvement in a less intensive treatment environment.
The residential intensive outpatient program continues with assisting the client in crossing over from a more structured environment to one in which the client is more in charge of their everyday life. This type of treatment helps them with those skills they will need to stay out of future problems.
At this level of care, you will receive a minimum of 15 hours of direct services. In addition, there is a $10 a day room and board charge which the client is responsible for paying.
