Mirror Inc. is an alcohol and drug treatment and prevention and correctional services provider. We offer residential and outpatient services on a statewide basis. Mirror is a private, not-for-profit agency serving the indigent population of Kansas and the inmate population in Kansas and Colorado. Mirror holds contracts with the State of Kansas, Social and Rehabilitation Services, Division of Health Care Policy, Mental Health, Addiction and Prevention Services, the Kansas Department of Corrections, the Kansas Sentencing Commission, the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, Federal Probation and Pre-trial Services Office and the State of Colorado, Colorado Department of Corrections. Present position is located at our Wichita/Sedgwick County Regional Prevention Center office at 357 S. Lulu, Wichita, KS. The successful applicant will be working with agencies and persons from the local area to create an awareness of prevention activities and services. For this position Mirror is seeking a human services or education professional with solid experience working with individuals and agencies in order to mobilize groups and individuals to promote change. Applicant will assist the community to develop effective strategies aimed at reducing the risk of addiction. BA required. Certification in prevention is a plus although we are willing to consider others without this certification as well. Some evening and weekend hours required. The duties of the present Director position include but are not limited to the following: provide oversight & management to the prevention programs, promote effective social policy development, ensure compliance with contractual conditions, gather and submit data necessary to the state (outcomes) evaluators and supervise the implementation of the goals & objectives of the prevention program.


Benefits explanation:

On the first of the month following 90 days of employment all full-time employees at Mirror receive 100% paid life insurance commensurate to annual salary and 80% paid health insurance that includes major medical and prescription drug-rider coverage. If HMO plan is selected instead of the PPO plan then a dental rider is also included. Paid long-term disability plan after one year of service. Agency funded retirement plan. Paid time off is accrued at 28, 33, 38 and 43 days annually based on years of service. Extended sick leave is paid at 100% of salary and is earned at 5 days for each year of employment. Extended sick leave may be accrued up to 45 days. Tax-deferred annuity and cafeteria plans are also available. Some paid time off for continued education credits.
